Dear Fellow Runners,
My name is Victor Rothlin. I am a professional runner from Switzerland, 33 years old and have been running since I was a kid.
I've specialized in the
marathon for the past 9 years.
My personal record in marathon is
2:07:23 (
Tokyo 2008).
This is the national record for Switzerland, Germany, as well as Austria.
I also run shorter distances like the 10,000m or half marathons in order to prepare myself for the marathon.
I’ve always trained according to a training plan.
For the past 8 years, I have trained according to a system developed by myself which I call the
VICSYSTEM (VIC for Victor).
For a professional runner like myself, this entails two runs and at least one set of supplemental exercises a day. The runs add up up to about 250 kilometers a week.
